About me

If you’ve gotten to the page, then perhaps I should answer your first questions which I think will be "Who the hell are you?", and "Why should I be you looking at your site?".

Well, my name’s Gregory Brine, I’m the Technical Director at the Web Development agency, Wiliam. I have been living in Sydney for the last 2 years, and I’m originally from near London in England.

The web is my home so as to speak. I’ve been working in the digital space for the last 9 years, and with my background being a combination of advertising, computers and engineering it naturally happened that I got stuck on the web. My experience and skills are very broad, and if you would like to know more about my time onine, then please read my CV

So what else can I say? I grew up in ‘Essex’ which I hope doesn’t turn you off too much if you know what that means. But I’d like start by saying that I don’t think I’m your average, stereotypical Essex boy, although I do sadly slip on occasions. I don’t have the accent (most of the time). I don’t wear tracksuits or baseball caps (OK, a cap when it’s sunny, tracksuit, never). I’ve never owned an Escort. Actually, I should defend Essex a bit, so I will by saying it’s a beautiful place, and most of the people I know and meet there are some of the friendliest around! And despite not living in Essex any more - decided that Sydney was a better option for a while - I do miss it at times, and all my close friends.

When I’m not at work, I tend to go out. Actually, probably too much, and my home is often not seen for days on end. I am also a keen cyclist, golfer and amateur photographer - although you’ll have to hunt through the galleries for photos of me. Keeping fit is also a key part of my life, to counterbalance the going out - which ironically, is usually what stops me from exercising. I’m also really into music - too much at times - but try and see as many live performances as time permits.

Onto the second question. Well, this site is my portfolio, play area, chat area and general window to the world. Looking around the site I hope you’ll laugh, find out a few things about me, such as the places I go, what I love doing and my experiences. Then there’s the previously mentioned photos and links to my friend’s sites - be sure to check them out! Delving deeper, you’ll find out there’s more to me than what you see here.
